Gematsu and Video Games Chronicle both report that the remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 arrive on Switch 2 together on October 16. The editions are Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition.

According to Nintendo Life, the Deluxe Edition includes multiple costumes for Claire and Leon, three bonus handguns, and the option to switch the soundtrack to the PS1 original. Alongside the main campaign you get The 4th Survivor, Ghost Survivors and The Tofu Survivors modes.

On performance, the game targets 60fps with only brief drops during busy moments.

Resident Evil 3

Nintendo Life says the Switch 2 version of Resident Evil 3 hits its 60fps target the vast majority of the time, with very minor blips. It does not include the Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer mode from the original 2020 release.

Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition

The Gold Edition includes the Separate Ways campaign starring Ada Wong and The Mercenaries mode, plus gyro aiming controls. A first playthrough takes around 15–20 hours, per Nintendo Life.

The drawback is performance. It also targets 60fps, but Nintendo Life found it struggles more than its predecessors, with noticeable resolution hits and occasional texture pop-in.
